Access to Cancer Care for Every New Mexican "Stepping Up The Fight Against Cancer"
Friday, October 11, 2013 UNM Cancer Center • Albuquerque, New Mexico

This seminar focused on the ambitious goals of the New Mexico Cancer Council Plan to improve access, education, screening, diagnosis, treatment, care and survivor services as well as ensure equal access to pain management, palliative care, complimentary and alternative services, and end of life services. CLE/CME credits were available.

The Advocacy for Cancer Patients Seminar of The Shannon J. Shaw Memorial Fund was planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS) through the joint sponsorship of Rehobooth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) and The Shannon J. Shaw Memorial Cancer Fund. Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services is accredited by the New Mexico Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. RMCHCS designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits
. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
